The Devil — Tarot Card Meaning
Treat tarot cards as companions, not as verdicts on your path. They don't provide ready answers or determine your future. You create your own reality and make the decisions.
The Devil embodies the wild, primal energy that exists within each person. It reflects one's aggression, obsessions, and hidden desires. It speaks to the insatiable essence residing within, a facet of personality that can seize control if desires are allowed to dominate. The inner demon can manifest at any time and in any life situation. The chains depicted on the card are loose—you can cast them off when you realize that you are the one who bound yourself.
